Lt. H.L. Billington, formerly of the Royal Fusiliers, was posted to No.1 Troop pf No.6 Commando from 1st June 1943. Lt. Billington was seriously wounded during the abortive action by No.1 Troop to reinforce the No.4 Commando lines on 10th June 1944. Later he was reported as having been promoted to Captain. |
